Agent K Excellent Aussie Dream Pop duo that is cut from a different cloth.
Very compelling guitar dynamics blended with male/female vocals. Found this to be cosmic hypnotic ride of "psychedelia" played through the haze of modern shoegaze.
Very compelling and stellar vocal harmonies.
"The Last Time" could have been a single released by Creation records in its heyday. Favorite track: The Last Time.

THE LAST TIME You talk to me when you're disengaged You're thoughts were there but they were always distant Why do you need this around the clock attention Why are you looking to me when there's a world of distractions When was the last time we really talked When was the last time we really thought When was the last we made the time When was the last time it crossed your mind These are drifting days, can we stay this way And be scared of change Can this be the last time, that you read my mind That we share our lives Sometimes we don't feel like waiting Sometimes we don't feel like playing games Sometimes we wanna see a reaction Sometimes we wanna see destruction © 2010 Andrew Day.

Perspective 05:21
PERSPECTIVE There's a place we used to go Where we could be alone Away from the sounds of the street Where I could hear your heartbeat It will never be easy now with everyone passing you by You always look down (with your eyes on the ground) With your thoughts hanging high It doesn't get any easier and if you don't be careful you'll fall Don't take your eyes off her eyes or she'll leave you tonight Out here there's only one star On this murky sky And there's a billion others Beyond the naked eye © 2009 Andrew Day.
3.
ART OF LEAVING I saw you on a pale blue early morning I watched you walk away Now you'd lived it all All there is to see and all there is to say There must be something out there anyway That makes a difference Just one kiss is everything There's nothing else to take There's no-one in the way I'd rather start again I'd rather run away Than stay here rotting Than live here dying Don't hold us underwater Don't hold us we can't breathe And we don't know how to survive We need hope to escape And leave no trace The old life wont find you The old life defined you You reach a point and acquiesce In a place where no-one ever changes You need a plan to escape And leave no trace The old life won't find you You'll never go on the attack They'll never go on the attack © 2009 Andrew Day.

Broken 05:28
BROKEN I'm standing in the middle of the street You could know me and I could know you too But you don't see off to the side The fleeting cars, the empty hearts The lonely lines and broken appointment times The grey face the blackened case the grey road the solitary load This swirling pace it frightens us away This filthy street was better yesterday A man shouts loudly in my face again Could this just be a signal red for time to end © 2002 Andrew Day.
5.
Long Shadows 05:42
LONG SHADOWS I know you are more sensitive than most You cling to this train, like a train to the rails I know I've been too serious lately I can't always move in time, but you know I'm trying And I just try to give in We are on some season's mescalin There's a counsellor and a humanitarian I don't want to see you again Movement is all I need it doesn't matter at what speed At this stage all I know is this You're devastating... and you're my accomplice We follow an earthly trail that would lead us through The long shadows that trail the afternoon Deserts spread out before the moon The icy clear sky, the book I know you'll write soon So forget what I mentioned to you It doesn't matter what we've been through It's a big roof in a big empty place With so many prospects in case Long shadows trail the afternoon Deserts spread out before the moon When buried hopes explode in the ground Go out there now and look for that sound Movement is all I need it doesn't matter at what speed At this stage all I know is this You're devastating...and you're my accomplice © 2009 Andrew Day.

about

"For a totally different flavor, Australian/Japanese/British The Sound Movement are more the classic English ethereal group - it's like the two groups are clashes of our respective nations' indie prototypes-playing an effects-driven, harmonic dazzle that reminds of what I still love about Blue Oyster Cult retrofitting The Byrds on "Don't Fear the Reaper" It's a gentler, subtler waves of guitar spell, more spacey-capacious like a fragrant flower perfume attack, allowing the imagination to run riot instead. This is even better! "

Jack Rabid - The Big Takeover Magazine ISSUE 73 (New York City)

"With pulsating harmonics, glass-cutter riffs, motorik rhythms and a white-hot whirlwind heart, 'The Last Time' flows and crashes like an ocean conducted by Jason Pierce - The Sound Movement are the Bruce Lee of pop; refusing form, they adapt, build and grow - like water. Empty your mind." Peter Guy Liverpool Echo (UK)
