about

I believe this is our very first "properly recorded" demo in 2002 recorded in our house in Melbourne thanks in some ways to some nice mic loans from producer and friend Andy Baldwin. "Song in Six" later became "One Hour". It landed between two Nightswimmer albums and was a bridge - this is the original "The Empty Beach" before it became electronica on Nightswimmer "...and a crescent..." in 2003. Selwyn was such a great drummer and guy and he brought this lovely jazzy organic sound in, I like to think we had soul in these recordings. Our technology was limited but we made it happen.
